LAPD Makes Arrests During Anti-ICE Protest as Officers Move to Disperse Crowd

Los Angeles Police Department officers moved in during an anti-ICE protest after tensions escalated, according to video shared from the scene.

Footage shows LAPD officers advancing on a group of demonstrators and making multiple arrests as they worked to push the crowd back. In one clip, an officer appears to use a baton while attempting to control the situation as protesters refused to move.

Police can be heard issuing commands to disperse as officers form lines and detain individuals who did not comply. Authorities have not yet released information on injuries, charges, or the total number of arrests.

Officials typically state that baton use and physical force are employed when officers believe crowd control is necessary to prevent further escalation or property damage. The incident remains under review.
