WATCH: Teen Arrested After Attempting to Flee During Anti-ICE Protest Outside Starbucks

A chaotic scene unfolded outside a Starbucks location during what appears to have been an anti-ICE protest, as police moved in to disperse the gathering and make arrests.

Video circulating online shows a teenager dressed in black attempting to flee as officers close in. As he runs, he appears to trip over a yellow curb and slam into a parked car.

Within seconds, an officer catches up to him, grabbing him by his backpack or hoodie. The officer then lifts the teen off the ground horizontally — briefly carrying him before hauling him back toward other officers.

The teen is then dropped to the ground, where multiple officers assist in handcuffing him.

It is unclear what led to the arrest or whether the teen is facing charges. Authorities have not yet released a detailed public statement regarding the incident.

The footage has sparked debate online, with some viewers arguing that the officer used unnecessary force, while others say the teen’s attempt to flee justified a swift physical response.

Protests surrounding immigration enforcement have intensified in recent weeks, with clashes between demonstrators and law enforcement drawing national attention.

As the video continues to spread, many are asking the same question:

Was this standard arrest procedure — or excessive force?

The situation remains under review.
