Border Patrol Tackles Anti-ICE Protester During Enforcement Operation in St. Paul

Border Patrol agents were conducting a lawful enforcement operation at a gas station in St. Paul, Minnesota, when the situation escalated due to resistance and interference from multiple individuals.

According to video from the scene, agents were in the process of arresting a suspect who repeatedly refused to comply with commands and resisted being taken into custody. Officers were forced to physically remove the suspect from a vehicle after continued non-compliance.

As agents worked to secure the suspect, a bystander identified as an anti-ICE protester began aggressively provoking the officers and moving dangerously close to the arrest scene. Despite verbal warnings, the individual continued interfering with the operation.

To prevent further disruption and ensure officer safety, agents tackled the bystander and detained him as well. Both individuals were brought under control, allowing the operation to proceed without further incident.

Federal officials emphasize that interfering with arrests or obstructing agents during active operations creates serious safety risks for everyone involved. Officers are authorized to act decisively when compliance is refused and tensions escalate.

No serious injuries have been reported, and the incident remains under review.
