Federal immigration agents made a second arrest after a protester attempted to interfere with an active ICE operation in which a woman had already been detained for obstruction.
Video from the scene shows agents securing the woman after she refused repeated lawful commands to exit her vehicle and used it to block federal officers. As agents worked to restrain her, a male protester rushed in and attempted to pull her away from custody.
An agent reacted immediately, taking the man to the ground to prevent further interference. The protester continued resisting as agents worked for several minutes to fully restrain him. Footage shows officers maintaining control despite the crowd surrounding them and shouting.
Once restrained, the man was carried toward an ICE vehicle. Video indicates he sustained visible facial injuries during the struggle, though no official statement has confirmed the extent or cause of those injuries.
Law enforcement officials stress that interfering with arrests creates dangerous conditions for everyone involved and often results in additional charges. ICE continued its operation after both individuals were taken into custody.
Authorities again warned that attempts to physically interfere with federal agents will result in immediate enforcement action.
