Afriend of Stormy Daniels has backed up claims the adult film star this week made in court about her alleged sexual encounter with former President Donald Trump.
On Tuesday, Daniels took the stand at New York City’s Manhattan Criminal Court, where she stated allegations of a purported one-night stand with Trump back in 2006. Trump has been married to Melania Trump since 2005.
The former president has pleaded not guilty to 34 felony counts of falsifying business records in relation to so-called hush money paid to Daniels to keep the alleged affair she had with Trump a secret ahead of the 2016 election. Trump denies an affair.
